In August 2025, specialists from the ‘Specialized Expert Center KazProf’ LLP successfully conducted a comprehensive workplace certification at ‘KTZ – Freight Transportation’ LLP.
The purpose of the certification was to assess employee working conditions and identify production environment factors affecting their safety and health. During the work, the center’s specialists performed:

- assessment of the state of workstations and their compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements;
- verification of employee provision with personal protective equipment;
- analysis of occupational disease risks;
- evaluation of the injury safety level of equipment and workstations;
- determination of the severity and intensity of the labor process for various categories of employees.
Special attention was paid to the working conditions of employees engaged in railway freight transportation. Work in this industry involves increased responsibility and significant physical and psycho-emotional stress, making it important to timely identify and mitigate the impact of harmful factors.
During the certification process, employees of ‘KTZ – Freight Transportation’ LLP actively participated and asked questions to the experts. They were interested in topics such as:
- how acceptable the noise level is at the workplaces of locomotive crews;
- which modern personal protective equipment is most effective when working under vibration and dust conditions;
- how measurement results are recorded and accounted for;
- how the certification will impact the improvement of working conditions and benefits for employees.
Following the certification, a detailed report was compiled with practical recommendations for improving working conditions, reducing occupational risks, and increasing the overall safety of production processes. The management of ‘KTZ – Freight Transportation’ LLP was provided with proposals for implementing corrective measures and improving the effectiveness of the occupational health and safety management system at the enterprise.
