In August 2025, specialists from the ‘Specialized Expert Center KazProf’ LLP conducted workplace certification at ‘COMPANY ‘SALAMAT’ LLP in the city of Kostanay, whose operations are related to flour production.

The certification was carried out for a comprehensive assessment of working conditions and analysis of factors affecting the safety and health of flour milling workers. As part of the inspection, the experts checked:

• • the dust level in production facilities;

• • lighting and microclimate of work zones;

• • noise level on production lines;

• • injury safety of equipment and workstations;

• • severity and intensity of labor for workers engaged in core technological processes.

Special attention was paid to protecting employees from exposure to flour and dust generated during grain processing. It was noted that with proper ventilation and the use of personal protective equipment (respirators, specialized clothing), the risk level to employee health is significantly reduced.

During the inspection, company employees showed interest and asked questions about how to optimize ventilation, which modern protective measures are most effective when working in dusty conditions, and what measures can be introduced to reduce fatigue during shifts.

Following the certification, the specialists prepared a report with recommendations for improving working conditions, upgrading ventilation systems, optimizing work schedules, and increasing overall production safety.
