WORKPLACE ASSESSMENT AT "KTZ - FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION" LLP: KAZPROF EXPERTS EVALUATED WORKING CONDITIONS
In August 2025, specialists from “Specialized Training Center “KazProf” LLP successfully conducted a comprehensive workplace certification at “KTJ – Cargo Transportation” LLP
The purpose of the certification was to assess the working conditions of employees and identify work enviroment factors affecting their safety and health. In the course of their work, the center’s specialists performed:

- Measurement of noise, vibration, microclimate, and lightning parameters;
- Assessment of workplace conditions and their compliance with sanitary and hygenic requirements;
- Verification of the provision of personal protective equipment to employees;
- Analysis of the risks of occupational diseases;
- Assessment of the injury safety level of equipment and workplaces;
- Determination of the severity and intensity of the labor process for various categories of workers.
Particular attention was paid to the working conditions of employees engaged in rail freight transportation. Work in this industry involves increased responsibility as well as significant physical and psycho-emotional stress, making it crucial to timely identify and mitigate the impact of harmful factors.
During the certification process, employees of “KTJ – Cargo Transportation” LLP actively participated and asked questions of the experts. They were interested in topics such as:

- To what extend the noise level at the workplaces of locomotive crews is permissible;
- Which modern personal protective equipment is most effective when working in conditions of vibration and dust;
- How measurement results are recorded and accounted for;
- How the certification will affect the improvement of working conditions and employee benefits.
Based on the certification results, a detailed report was compiled containing practical recommendations for improving working conditions, reducing occupational risks, and increasing the overall safety of production processes. The management of “KTJ – Cargo Transportation” LLP was provided with proposals for implementing corrective measures and enhancing the efficiency of the enterprise’s occupational health and safety management system.
