WHO IS REQUIRED TO UNDERGO HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING?

In accordance with subparagraphs 2 and 3 of paragraph 2 of Article 182 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2015, No. 414-V ЗРК: executives and employees responsible for ensuring health and safety are required to undergo training and knowledge assessments on health and safety issues at organizations specializing in training and professional development.

Companies with up to 50 employees:

Organization executives and responsible persons.
Health and Safety Service, including at least three certified H&S specialists (e.g., H&S engineer and heads of departments / structural units).
Department heads (for conducting workplace briefings).

Companies with over 50 employees:

Organization executives and responsible persons.
Health and Safety Engineer as a dedicated staff position.
The person responsible for health and safety (dual role according to the appointment order).
Department heads (when they conduct workplace briefings).
